Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Operations Execution Manager (OEM) to lead Manufacturing Operations programs, manage cost, schedule, and technical performance, and coordinate with PMO, MA, GSC, and Engineering teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience (or 6+ years with a Master's) in engineering, manufacturing or business management, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years' experience in engineering, manufacturing or business management (or 6+ years with a Master's).
• Experience leading projects or initiatives in an operations-focused program or management role.
• Experience with cost, schedule, project leadership, and/or process improvement.
• Experience with SAP/ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance (US citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Lead the Manufacturing Operations team and coordinate with PMO, MA, GSC, Engineering, and partner functions.
• Report Manufacturing Operations status to Program Manager, Sector Execs and customers.
• Serve as a lead for Manufacturing Operations proposal development.
• Ensure sufficient resources are available and allocated for program execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set goals/priorities and communicate them to stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve issues impacting performance and drive corrective actions.
• Develop and adhere to master production schedules and budget baselines (EVMS).
• Implement risk and opportunity management and ensure contract scope adherence.
