Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager Level 2 to lead a 10+ person team responsible for electronics and avionics flight hardware. This 100% onsite role requires hands-on process design, MES experience, and the ability to drive manufacturing improvements.

A BS in engineering with 8+ years of leadership is preferred; US citizenship and a Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Electronics, or Engineering Management with a minimum of 8 years leading a team of engineers.
Proficient in MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent communicator with ability to lead and contribute as a team member.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of 10+ engineers responsible for manufacturing electronics and avionics flight hardware.
Design manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts.
Implement process improvement initiatives and report status to senior leadership.
Investigate and initiate corrective actions to ensure product quality.
Provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specifications to optimize equipment use.
Ensure processes and procedures comply with regulations.
