Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to plan and design manufacturing processes at a plant site near Atlanta, GA. You will optimize layouts, tooling, and workflows to improve efficiency, while leading cross-functional teams on design reviews and improvements.

Strong emphasis on automation, robotics, and PLCs. The role requires a BA/BS, experience with SolidWorks and MS Office, and a background in heavy manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• Proficient with 3D modeling software (SolidWorks) and MS Office.
• Must have tooling experience.
• Project management experience required to run projects end-to-end.
• Automation experience including robotics and PLCs; heavy manufacturing background.

Responsibilities

• Design production tooling and layouts to maximize efficiency.
• Implement productivity improvements on current lines.
• Perform root cause analysis using statistical methods and Lean tools.
• Develop production processes for new products and changes.
• Conduct FMEA on designs, materials, processes.
• Review designs for manufacturability and optimized processing.
• Lead design reviews and cross-functional teams to drive outcomes.
• Create work instructions, SOWs, and inventories for parts and fixtures.
• Oversee automation, robotics, vision systems, controls integration, and tooling.
