Top Echelon Software, LLC in the Atlanta area is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design and optimize production processes at a large plant site. You will analyze equipment layouts, workflow, and tooling to maximize throughput while meeting product specs and safety standards.

Responsibilities include designing tooling with SolidWorks, implementing Lean improvements, performing FMEA, coordinating cross-functional teams, and guiding automation and robotics integrations.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and MS Office.
• Must have tooling experience.
• Project management to run projects end-to-end.
• Automation experience including robotics and PLCs.
• Experience as a manufacturing engineer in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Foundry experience desired (die casting, stamping, plating, etc.).
• Authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Design production tooling and layouts to maximize throughput.
• Implement productivity improvements on current lines.
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend design/processing changes.
• Design and implement processes for new products and changes.
• Perform FMEA on products and processes.
• Review designs for manufacturability and optimize processing.
• Lead cross-functional teams for productivity improvements.
• Lead design of experiments and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Lead design reviews for new/existing products.
• Create work instructions, BOMs, and inventory plans.
• Implement automation, robotics, vision systems, and tooling.
