Job summary

Cullerton Group is recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer 4 for a 12-month, 100% onsite role in Pontiac, IL. The position focuses on supporting production processes and continuous improvement in a high-tolerance environment, working primarily on the shop floor with some office time.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of manufacturing/engineering experience, a B.S. in engineering, hands-on machining exposure, and CNC process development skills.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of relevant manufacturing/engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience in a manufacturing and machining environment.
• Experience with CNC programming and process development.
• Ability to create sketches, engineering drawings, and relations.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and technical reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing operations and identify opportunities to improve production efficiency.
• Develop, test, and validate manufacturing process improvements.
• Perform time, motion, method, and production studies to establish standards and improve efficiency.
• Analyze manufacturing data, quality records, workflows, equipment utilization, and production documentation.
• Recommend improvements to manufacturing methods, material handling, equipment layouts, machining processes, and production standards.
• Work directly with operators and cross-functional quality, operations, and design teams.
• Prepare engineering drawings, reports, process reviews, and other technical documentation.
• Support CNC programming and manufacturing process development.
