Job summary

Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer 3 in Pontiac, IL. The work will be 100% onsite, Monday–Friday from 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, with limited overtime as needed. This is a 12-month position that can lead to permanent employment with our client.

Compensation is up to $44/hr + full benefits (vision, dental, health insurance, 401k, and holiday pay). The role supports production processes in a high-paced fuel systems environment with ~70% on the floor and 30% in the office,

Qualifications

8–10 years of relevant manufacturing/process engineering experience.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred; comparable experience considered.
Experience in manufacturing and machining environments.
Hands‑on CNC programming and process development.
Ability to read sketches, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Strong written/verbal communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Support daily manufacturing operations and identify opportunities to improve production processes.
Develop, test, and validate manufacturing process improvements with operators.
Support CNC programming and machining process development.
Analyze production data, machine utilization, and process performance to resolve issues.
Prepare engineering drawings, reports, and document process reviews with teams.
