Qualifications

• 8–10 years of relevant manufacturing/process engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred; comparable experience considered.
• Experience in manufacturing and machining environments.
• Hands‑on CNC programming and process development.
• Ability to read sketches, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Strong written/verbal communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer 3 will support production processes and continuous improvement initiatives in a high-paced, high-tolerance fuel systems manufacturing environment. This role is highly hands-on, with approximately 70% of the time spent on the manufacturing floor and 30% in an office setting. The engineer will work closely with production operators, quality, operations, and design teams to test and validate process improvements, maintain manufacturing processes, and prepare technical reports and process review documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing operations and identify opportunities to improve production processes, efficiency, quality, and standards.
• Develop, test, and validate manufacturing process improvements while working directly with production operators.
• Support CNC programming and machining process development in a manufacturing environment.
• Analyze production data, workflows, machine utilization, material handling, and process performance to identify and resolve issues.
• Prepare engineering drawings, reports, process review documents, and other technical documentation while collaborating with quality, operations, and design teams.

Required Qualifications

• 8–10 years of relevant manufacturing/process engineering experience. Internships may count toward experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field preferred; candidates with comparable relevant experience may also be considered.
• Experience working in a manufacturing and machining environment.
• Hands‑on experience with CNC programming and process development.
• Ability to create sketches and engineering drawings and perform common engineering calculations.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and technical reports.
• Strong written/verbal communication, analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with honing, OD/ID grinding, and centerless grinding.
• Experience developing and maintaining automated manufacturing cells.
• Previous experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, Tool & Die Maker, or Design Engineer.
• CAD experience and the ability to create and interpret engineering drawings.
