Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Manufacturing in Colorado Springs is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer 2nd Shift to support a stand-alone facility fulfilling DoD programs. You will oversee production processes from raw materials to finished goods and work with Planning, Quality, and Operations to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include creating and maintaining mBOMs, routing in Solumina, coordinating with MES, ERP/PLM/MES systems, and driving continuous improvement and ISO9001/AS9100

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of applicable experience.
• Experience with CNC Mill and Lathe machining.
• ISO9001/AS9100 processes knowledge.
• Resident of Colorado Springs area or willing to relocate to Colorado Springs, CO.

Responsibilities

• Implement procedures to transform raw materials into finished products efficiently.
• Use MES software (Solumina) to monitor and control manufacturing processes.
• Generate and maintain Manufacturing Bill of Materials (mBOMs) and routings.
• Plan and maintain production flow using MRP; manage change and make/buy designations.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Operations Leads, and Inventory Control.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure ISO9001/AS9100 compliance.
