Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Manufacturing is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Colorado Manufacturing team, supporting a stand-alone facility for DoD programs. This Senior Engineer role focuses on optimizing manufacturing processes, BOMs, routings, and tooling with frequent collaboration across Engineering, Quality, and Operations.

Weekend shift 6AM-6PM, Friday through Sunday, is required. The role requires a strong background in machining, GD&T, and MES systems, with a US citizen

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Industrial and Systems Engineering with minimum 6 years of applicable experience.
• Experience with CNC machining and metrology.
• Experience with MRP/ERP/MES systems and GD&T.
• Proficient with SolidWorks and MS Office; strong collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize production processes from raw materials to finished products.
• Use MES software (Solumina) to monitor and control manufacturing processes.
• Create and maintain Manufacturing BOMs and routings in the system.
• Plan production flow and coordinate with planning, quality, and operations.
