Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Manufacturing is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Colorado facility supporting DoD programs. This senior role focuses on optimizing production from materials to finished goods using Solumina MES and Windchill configuration control.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations Leads to maintain mBOMs, tooling, and work instructions, with a weekend Fri–Sun shift 6AM–6PM. A Secret clearance and Colorado Springs residency are required.

Qualifications

• BS degrees in engineering fields with 6+ years of applicable experience.
• Experience with CNC milling/lathe machining and GD&T.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP/MES systems and collaborative engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Transform raw materials into finished products efficiently and effectively.
• Use MES software to track, monitor, and control manufacturing processes.
• Maintain and structure Manufacturing BOMs and routings in systems.
• Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives.
• Plan production flow and manage change control within ERP/MES.
