Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Industrial and Systems Engineering with minimum 2 years of applicable experience.
• Collaborative engineering in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Experience with CNC milling and lathe machining.
• Two years of manufacturing, assembly and integration experience with machining or mechanical components.
• Experience with MRP and ERP/PLM/MES systems.
• Proficient understanding of GD&T.
• Experience with ISO9001/AS9100 processes.
• Experience with contactless structured blue light scanning.
• Intermediate proficiency with SolidWorks.
• Resident of Colorado Springs area or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Transform raw materials into finished products efficiently and effectively.
• Use Solumina MES to track and control manufacturing processes for quality and efficiency.
• Generate and maintain Manufacturing BOMs (mBOMS).
• Create routings in Solumina to reflect accurate run times.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement projects.
• Plan and maintain production flow using the MRP system.
• Manage data and configuration controls for manufacturing changes.
• Define processes and production flow for assembly, integration, and test.
• Coordinate production work across projects and resources.
• Resolve issues related to configuration, scheduling, and material shortages.
