Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a seasoned manufacturing leader to manage the Oshkosh North Slitting and Lamination departments. You will oversee safety, quality, productivity, and cost while guiding a team of more than 75 hourly employees under established procedures and customer requirements.

As safety leader, you will collaborate with the EHS Manager to implement policies, drive 5S and GMP, and manage KPI performance through the PCS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in manufacturing leadership and supervision.
• Strong safety, quality, and CI mindset.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a safety leader and ensures a safe working environment.
• Establishes and enforces safety, quality, waste and productivity standards.
• Manages the Performance Control System (PCS) and KPI tracking; leads department meetings.
• Drives continuous improvement opportunities with Plant Leadership and CI teams.
• Supervises salaried Shift Supervisors; handles hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensures SOCs are in place and followed; maintains productivity standards.
• Investigates injuries/incidents and closes follow-up actions.
• Recommends capital projects with ROI justification and per Amcor policy.
• Addresses customer complaints with corrective actions and effective follow-up.
• Maintains alignment with 5S, GMP, and Best Practice standards.
