Amcor is seeking a Manufacturing Department Manager to lead a large plant segment in Oshkosh, WI, overseeing safety, quality, productivity and cost with responsibility for over 75 hourly employees. The role partners with leadership to drive continuous improvement and ensures adherence to SOCs, 5S, GMP and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with emphasis on a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years supervisory/leadership experience.

Responsabilités

• Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities.
• Establishes, maintains, communicates, and enforces safety, quality, waste and productivity standards.
• Oversees and manages the Performance Control System (PCS) including KPI audits and department meetings.
• Partners with Plant Leadership to identify CI opportunities and update standards after improvements.
• Provides feedback on performance against standards to the department and employees.
• Supervises salaried Shift Supervisors and handles hiring, discipline, and salary administration.
• Ensures Best Practice teams have representation and implements changes as needed.
• Ensures investigations for injuries/incidents are completed and follow-up actions taken.
• Recommends capital projects with documented ROI and KPI alignment.
• Ensures customer complaints are investigated and corrective actions evaluated.
• Maintains SOCs and productivity standards in line with best practices.
