Job summary
Universal Processing in Flushing, NY is seeking a Technical Support (POS Systems) specialist for a fully onsite, five-days-a-week role. You will interact directly with clients, support our sales effort, and troubleshoot POS systems and software.
The position requires Mandarin Chinese fluency (reading/writing), a related Bachelor's degree, 1–2 years of technical support experience, and strong communication skills. On-site in NYC with competitive benefits.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in reading and writing Mandarin Chinese is required.
- Minimum 1–2 years of technical support experience preferred; POS experience is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/CE or related field is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, install, and configure software & hardware for deployment.
- Onboard and train new users for newly deployed software and hardware.
- Perform remote troubleshooting over the phone and through remote control tools.
- Identify and analyze issues for software and/or hardware.
- Partner with Operations and Sales to support POS inquiries.
- Collect user feedback for product improvement with Development.
- Assist in inventory tracking and management.
