Job summary

Pomeroy is seeking a bilingual IT Field Technician for full-time direct hire in Queens/Brooklyn, NY. You will provide on-site IT support at multiple stores, travel daily, install hardware and software, and train users on applications and peripherals.

Requirements include a college IT degree or equivalent certifications, fluency in English and Spanish, valid NY/NJ driver’s license, and the ability to work independently and handle multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• College degree in IT or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of network hardware and basic data communications.
• Able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs; daily travel required.

Responsibilities

• Provide first point of contact for IT support at stores.
• Travel daily between stores in Queens/Brooklyn.
• Install hardware and software and train users on applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site IT issues.
• Collaborate with team to escalate complex problems.
• Maintain knowledge of retail systems and processes.
