Job summary
Universal Processing LLC (uP) in Flushing, NY is seeking a Technical Support professional for our POS systems. This on-site role collaborates with sales and operations to deploy software and hardware, train users, and troubleshoot customer issues.
The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of technical support experience, strong Mandarin Chinese reading and writing skills, and proficiency with Excel and Word. On-the-job training and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.
Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the US; E-Verify employer.
- Bilingual proficiency in Chinese - Mandarin required, reading and writing.
- Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/CE/Net Admin is a plus.
- 1–2 years Technical Support experience required; POS systems experience preferred.
- Strong communication, detail-oriented, analytical abilities.
- Able to assist clients and troubleshoot effectively.
- Proficient with Excel and Word.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, install, and configure software & hardware for deployment.
- Onboard and train new users for deployed software and hardware.
- Perform remote troubleshooting over the phone and via remote tools.
- Identify and analyze software/hardware issues.
- Collaborate with Operations and Sales to resolve POS inquiries.
- Collect end-user feedback and work with Development for improvements.
- Assist in inventory tracking and management.
