Job summary

HungryPanda is seeking a Mandarin-speaking Business Development professional based in the United States to recruit and onboard merchants, drive partnerships, and grow GMV. You will conduct in-person visits, negotiate agreements, and closely collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to optimize merchant performance on HungryPanda's platform.

The role requires strong Mandarin communication, B2B experience, and a proactive, organized approach to field work with the ability to close

Qualifications

• Fluency in Mandarin is required; English is a plus.
• Experience in B2B sales, merchant acquisition, or offline BD.
• Familiarity with the food delivery industry, local retail, or platform operations.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Independent work style; able to manage field visits and close deals under pressure.
• Excellent time management, project coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
• Team player; able to collaborate across Marketing, Operations and Product teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit potential merchants to join HungryPanda, presenting offerings to drive onboarding.
• Conduct frequent in-person merchant visits to pitch partnerships and complete onboarding.
• Maintain long-term merchant relationships with regular business support and visits.
• Collaborate with merchants to develop platform strategies and grow order volume/GMV.
• Coordinate promotional campaigns with Marketing to increase merchant exposure and transactions.
• Update and manage merchant backend data and settings for smooth operations and accurate info.
• Gather merchant feedback and market trends to inform business decisions and product improvements.
