Job summary

HungryPanda, a global food delivery platform focused on authentic Chinese cuisine and groceries, is expanding in the United States. We are seeking a Columbus-based Merchant Acquisition Executive to recruit merchants, grow order volumes, and strengthen our market presence with restaurants and grocery partners.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in Mandarin.
• Experience in business negotiation, sales and marketing management is preferred.
• Working experience in Internet companies is preferred.
• Strong time management and project management skills.
• High sensitivity on market trend, high sensitivity on data.
• Strong commercial acumen and a desire to work with restaurants; not afraid of rejection.
• Excellent teamwork and ability to coordinate with different teams.

Responsibilities

• Acquire merchants and assist them in achieving higher orders and GMV (gross merchandise volume); responsible for sales revenue and market share.
• Arrange in-person meetings to negotiate contracts with potential merchants.
• Maintain existing relationships with cooperating merchants; coordinate and resolve issues with stakeholders; improve merchant satisfaction and service quality.
• Conduct regular merchant visits and manage merchant materials.
• Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
• Maintain and update backstage settings for each merchant in charge.
• Liaise with Marketing and Delivery Operations to align strategies to increase GMV.
