HungryPanda in the United States (New Jersey) seeks a Business Development professional fluent in Mandarin to recruit merchants, conduct in-person visits, negotiate partnerships and onboard new merchants onto the platform.

You will work with merchants to develop platform strategies, optimize performance and GMV, and coordinate promotions with the Marketing team to boost exposure and transaction frequency. Travel to merchant sites required.

Qualifications

• Fluent Mandarin Chinese required; English proficiency a plus.
• Experience in B2B sales, merchant acquisition, or offline business development preferred.
• Familiarity with food delivery, local retail, or internet platform operations is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities; able to build trust with business owners.
• Independent worker with strong time management, project coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Team player capable of cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Operations and Product.

Responsabilités

• Identify and recruit potential merchants (restaurants, stores, etc.) to join HungryPanda and present our offerings.
• Conduct frequent in-person merchant visits to pitch cooperation, negotiate agreements and complete onboarding.
• Maintain long-term merchant relationships through regular business support and issue resolution.
• Develop customized platform strategies with onboarded merchants to optimize performance and GMV growth.
• Propose and coordinate promotional campaigns with Marketing to increase merchant exposure and transaction frequency.
• Manage and update merchant backend data and settings for smooth operations and accurate performance tracking.
• Monitor market trends and merchant feedback to support business decisions and product improvements.
