Job summary

HungryPanda Ltd 熊猫外卖 is seeking a Business Development professional to expand its merchant network in the United States. You will identify, pitch, onboard, and manage partnerships with restaurants and stores to grow GMV and transaction volume.

The role requires Mandarin proficiency and strong B2B sales/negotiation skills, with a focus on field visits and strategic collaboration with Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to drive sustained growth.

Qualifications

• Mandarin Chinese proficiency required; English a plus.
• Experience in B2B sales or merchant onboarding desirable.
• Familiarity with the food delivery industry or local retail is a plus.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit potential merchants to join our platform.
• Conduct in-person visits to pitch partnerships and onboard merchants.
• Maintain long-term merchant relationships with regular business support.
• Collaborate with onboarded merchants to optimize performance and GMV.
• Coordinate promotional campaigns with Marketing to boost exposure and transactions.
• Update merchant data and settings for smooth operations and tracking.
• Monitor market trends and provide insights for decision-making and product improvement.
