Job summary

Universal Processing LLC is seeking a Business Development Associate for a fully onsite role in Chicago. You will be the brand ambassador, gathering leads, conducting cold calls, and scheduling appointments to grow our client base.

You must be bilingual in English and Mandarin, and be able to read and write both languages. The role includes paid onboarding, benefits, PTO, 401k, and bonuses, with starting base pay of $23.50/hour during probation and $26.00/hour after.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the US; E-Verify employer.
• Bilingual English and Mandarin-Chinese required; read/write in both.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Sales or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, detail-oriented, and analytical abilities.
• Able to be well-spoken and connect with clients on the phone.
• Aptitude for learning and developing negotiation and sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather leads, conduct cold calls, and schedule appointments to develop new business.
• Engage conversations with SMB owners by introducing products and services.
• Obtain business information such as business name, address, strategies, payment method, sales volume, and pricing; input data into databases.
• Gather credit card processing statements for pricing analysis and financial understanding.
• Follow up with potential clients to engage opportunities; manage the sales pipeline and payment strategy.
• Meet and exceed required sales targets.
