Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking a Make Ready Technician to support the upkeep of our multifamily communities by ensuring clean, safe, and well-maintained homes for residents and visitors under the supervision of the Lead Maintenance Technician.

You will train and mentor maintenance staff, coordinate tasks such as lighting, painting, and appliance work, and ensure market-ready apartments to support move-ins. This role emphasizes safety, compliance, and resident-focused service.

Qualifications

• Must meet all physical requirements and follow directions.
• Work schedule is typically 40 hours per week, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; schedule may vary.
• Scheduled on-call work may be necessary.
• Must wear a back-support belt and gloves as dictated by tasks to ensure safety.
• Must wear appropriate footwear; non-flat-bottom shoes required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and communicate make-ready needs to the Senior Maintenance Technician and Property Manager.
• Assist with cleaning and trash-out of units and maintenance of grounds.
• Assist with appliance repairs, painting, and minor exterior maintenance.
• Ensure all apartments are restored to “market ready” condition for move-ins.
• Document inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks; report supply needs.
