Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking an Assistant Maintenance / Make Ready Technician to uphold the property’s physical integrity and ensure a clean, safe living environment for residents. You will assist under supervision to prepare apartments for new residents and support maintenance operations.

Responsibilities include making-ready tasks, training, and safety practices, with potential on-call duties. The role emphasizes timely, quality service and collaboration with the property team.

Qualifications

• Must meet physical requirements and be able to follow directions.
• Work schedule is typically 40 hours per week, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; however, the weekly schedule may vary as business needs require.
• Scheduled on-call work may be necessary.
• Must wear a back-support belt and gloves as dictated by specific tasks to ensure safety.
• Required to wear appropriate footwear; flat-bottom sneakers are not permitted.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete detailed checklists to assess make-ready needs; communicate required services to supervisor.
• Assist with cleaning and trash-out of units, including removal of heavy items as needed.
• Perform general maintenance tasks to prepare apartments for new residents.
• Replace or repair lights, locks, faucets, appliances, doors, blinds, fans, windows, and shelving.
• Document inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks completed during the make-ready process.
