SunRidge Management Group is seeking an Assistant Maintenance / Make Ready Technician for multifamily communities. The role supports upholding property integrity, ensuring safe, clean, and market-ready living spaces for residents, under supervision of the Lead Maintenance Technician.

The position offers growth potential, with opportunities to train, mentor maintenance staff, and advance to Lead Maintenance in the future. On-site work with occasional on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in the Assistant Maintenance role in property maintenance.
• Work schedule is typically 40 hours per week, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; schedule may vary.
• Scheduled on-call work may be necessary.
• Must wear a back-support belt and gloves as dictated by specific tasks to ensure safety.
• Must wear appropriate footwear; flat-bottom sneakers not permitted.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete detailed checklists to assess make-ready needs.
• Assist with cleaning and trash-out of units and remove heavy items as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of community grounds and deliver notices as needed.
• Replace or repair lights, locks, faucets, appliances, doors, blinds, fans, windows, and shelving.
• Patch and paint walls, inspect tiles, change A/C filters, and operate carpet cleaning equipment.
• Assist with appliance repairs, transfers to or from units, and painting tasks.
