Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking a Make Ready Technician to uphold the physical integrity of apartment communities. You will support making units market-ready, assist with cleaning, repairs, and coordinating with the maintenance team while ensuring safety standards are met.

The role emphasizes training and mentoring maintenance staff, complying with policies, and delivering a clean, welcoming living environment for residents. Strong safety and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Must meet all physical requirements and follow directions.
• Work schedule is typically 40 hours per week (8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Mon–Fri); schedule may vary.
• Scheduled on-call work may be necessary.
• Must wear back-support belt and gloves, and appropriate footwear for safety.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete detailed checklists to assess make-ready needs and communicate required services to the Senior Maintenance Technician and Property Manager.
• Assist with cleaning and trash-out of units, including removal of heavy items when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness of community grounds and deliver notices to residents as needed.
• Document all inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks completed during make-ready.
• Support safety training efforts and adhere to safety practices.
