Job summary

SunRidge Management Group Inc. is seeking an Assistant Maintenance / Make Ready Technician to keep our multifamily communities clean, safe, and ready for new residents. This on-site role reports to the Property Manager and emphasizes attention to detail and quality workmanship.

You will perform turnovers, basic repairs, and coordinate with team members to ensure market-ready units that meet safety standards and resident expectations. A strong work ethic and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Must meet all physical requirements and be able to follow directions.
• 40 hours per week, typically 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; schedule may vary.
• Occasional weekend availability may be required.
• Wear back-support belt, gloves, and appropriate footwear for safety.
• On-site work with hands-on maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated units and prepare them for new residents.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks: lighting, locks, fixtures, painting, and A/C filters.
• Assist with cleaning, trash-out, and turnover of apartments.
• Adhere to safety policies and report needs to supervisor.
• Document completed inspections and repairs.
