Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Make Ready to assist in the maintenance of our Houston properties. The role involves corrective, preventive, routine, emergency, and cosmetic tasks under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

The Make Ready will ensure units meet property standards before move-in and assist with special projects. Requires High School Diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Basic computer skills are required to operate on-site software.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out maintenance processes, including corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure make-ready units meet property standards before new residents move in, including repairs, painting, and appliance installation.
• Respond to resident and management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain a well-organized maintenance shop and follow safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
• Assist with scheduling and performing maintenance/repair-related turn events and inventory monitoring.
