Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Make Ready professional to assist in maintenance operations across its communities. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, ensure unit readiness for new residents, and support daily property upkeep under supervision.

The role emphasizes safety, timely responses to requests, and adherence to property standards, OSHA guidelines, and fair housing laws. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities to contribute to a growing, nationally

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Community Maintenance responsibilities and on-site duties as outlined.
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Ensure make-ready units meet property standards before new residents move in, including repairs, painting, appliances, and plumbing/electrical checks.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner.
• Assist with scheduling and performance of all maintenance/repair-related turn events.
• Daily cleanup of the exterior of the community, grounds, buildings, and common areas.
• Perform swimming pool maintenance and maintain accurate chemical logs.
• Inspect grounds and buildings to identify hazards and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program to extend the life of the community.
• Follow Asset Living policies and maintain organized maintenance shop and safety standards.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor in hazard communications and safe practices training.
• Participate in unit inspections and monitor inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Maintain records regarding service requests, EPA/OSHA standards, preventive maintenance, and work progress.
• Support general upkeep of office, common areas, and model units.
