Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Make Ready professional to support the maintenance operations of our communities. This role focuses on corrective, preventative, routine, emergency and cosmetic tasks to ready units for new residents, under supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

Strong customer service and safety awareness are essential. Responsibilities include unit make-ready work, timely response to requests, and keeping common areas clean and well-maintained.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Community Maintenance
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
• Ensure make-ready units meet property standards before new residents move in.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner
• Assist with the scheduling and performance of all maintenance/repair-related turn events
• Assist in the daily cleanup of the exterior of the community, including grounds, buildings, breezeways, and all common areas
• Perform swimming pool maintenance and cleaning and maintain accurate, timely chemical logs
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily to identify hazards
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program
• Maintain a well-organized maintenance shop and adhere to safety standards
• Assist with monitoring inventory of equipment and supplies
• Maintain accurate records regarding service requests and work progress
• Maintain Office/common area upkeep and cleanliness
• Report violations to Maintenance Supervisor/Community Manager
• Provide excellent customer service and manage service requests
• Project a positive image of the community and enforce policies
