Job summary

SunRidge Management Group seeks an Assistant Maintenance / Make Ready Technician to join our Dallas-area team. You will prepare apartments for move-ins, perform basic repairs, coordinate make-ready tasks, and uphold a clean, safe living environment for residents and staff.

Work closely with the Property Manager and Lead Maintenance Technician, participate in on-site safety practices, and help ensure timely turnover and market-ready units across our communities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical maintenance tasks in a residential setting.
• Work schedule typically 40 hours per week, with occasional weekend needs.
• Must wear safety gear and follow company safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: follow policies and inspect make-ready needs; communicate with Senior Maintenance Technician and Property Manager.
• Leadership & Training: participate in Grace Hill training and ongoing skill development; safety training adherence.
• Maintenance Coordination: perform general maintenance to prepare apartments; replace/repair fixtures and inspect surfaces.
• Resident Relations: restore apartments to market-ready condition; provide clean, welcoming spaces for new residents.
• Compliance & Reporting: document inspections and repairs; report supply needs and ensure safety standards.
