Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking an Assistant Maintenance / Make Ready Technician to support our multifamily communities. The role focuses on preparing apartments for new residents, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and assisting with routine maintenance under supervision.

Training and mentoring other maintenance staff are included with potential promotion to Lead Maintenance in the future. The position is on-site with typical weekday hours and occasional weekend needs, offering

Qualifications

• 4 to 5 years of experience in the Assistant Maintenance role in property maintenance
• Work schedule is typically 40 hours per week, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; on-call may be required

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete detailed checklists to assess make-ready needs; communicate required services to the Senior Maintenance Technician and Property Manager
• Assist with cleaning and trash-out of units, including removal of heavy or bulky items
• Replace or repair lights, locks, faucets, appliances, doors, blinds, fans, windows, and shelving; patching and painting walls; changing A/C filters
• Transport paint and equipment from storage areas and assist with painting and minor exterior maintenance
• Document inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks; ensure work complies with safety regulations and property standards
