Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking an Assistant Maintenance / Make Ready Technician for on-site multifamily communities. You will assist in maintaining property condition, preparing units for new residents, and supporting a safe, clean living environment under the supervision of senior staff.

Responsibilities include completing make-ready tasks, coordinating with maintenance teams, and upholding safety standards while delivering excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• Must meet all physical requirements and follow directions.
• Work schedule typically 40 hours per week, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday–Friday; on‑call may be required.
• Must wear back‑support belt and gloves as dictated for safety.
• Appropriate footwear required; non‑flat bottom shoes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure apartments are market‑ready by preparing for new residents.
• Assist with cleaning, trash-out, and making ready units.
• Perform general maintenance tasks: replacing lights, locks, faucets, appliances, doors, blinds, and shelving.
• Patch and paint walls, inspect tiles, change A/C filters, operate carpet cleaning equipment.
• Support safety training and ensure high‑quality service delivery.
