Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Make Ready to ensure vacated apartments are restored to market-ready status in a timely manner, following the manager's timetable.

The role requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work independently or with a team. On-call availability and a valid driver's license are required, with benefits including health options and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of full-time related experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Demonstrate knowledge of work safety habits.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to work on call and extended hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete a checklist regarding make-ready.
• Make ready units for new move-ins.
• Check and replace lights, windows, and doors as needed.
• Assist with painting, fixtures, and minor repairs.
• Lend assistance during trash-out and move heavy items as needed.
• Perform other projects as directed.
