Job summary

ResProp Management is hiring a Make Ready Technician to prepare apartments for move-in and maintain the property’s safety and appeal. You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of work orders.

Role requires general maintenance skills, own hand tools, and a willingness to work weekends and holidays. The company offers competitive salary and benefits including health, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of general maintenance/general repair experience, preferably in multifamily or related industry.
• Trade skills including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, framing, painting, roofing, cabinetry, pools, appliances, etc.
• Trade Licensing preferred but not required
• Must have own hand tools
• Must live within 30 minutes of community
• Must be willing to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays
• Must have dependable transportation and be able to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule
• Must be able to perform physical requirements up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Ensure Resident satisfaction by preparing vacant apartments for move-in.
• Perform work to keep common areas clean, safe, and attractive (pools, laundry, clubhouses, parking lots).
• Respond to and complete work orders timely in a quality manner.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and vendors.
• Maintain property value through preventative maintenance.
• Identify safety hazards and report or correct them.
• Use software to track work and performance.
• Be part of a team handling diverse tasks in a developing environment.
