Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure vacant units are field-ready, meeting company quality standards. You will perform repairs, painting, plumbing, and drywall touch-ups to bring apartments to market readiness and maintain common areas.

The role requires adherence to safety policies and attendance at safety meetings. Responsibilities include completing make-ready checklists, sealing windows and fixtures, assisting with groundskeeping, and documenting maintenance

Qualifications

• Completes repairs and improvements to apartment homes prior to resident move-in.
• Inspects and repairs sheetrock and performs touch-up painting as directed.
• Maintains grounds and common areas and supports cost-containment efforts.
• Follows safety policies and attends routine safety meetings.

Responsibilities

• Completes make-ready checklist and required maintenance documentation.
• Caulks and seals around windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers.
• Inspects for damage and repairs or replaces drywall as needed.
• Performs touch-up paints for vacant and occupied units.
• Assists in grounds/amenities upkeep and general cleaning.
• Repairs rather than replaces parts where feasible; uses tools correctly.
• Responds promptly to work orders with efficiency and urgency.
