Job summary

SunRidge Management Group in Denham Springs, LA is seeking an Assistant Maintenance / Make Ready Technician for multifamily communities. This on-site role supports property teams in keeping buildings safe, clean, and market-ready for residents and move-ins.

You will perform general maintenance, coordinate make-ready tasks, inspect vacated units, and follow safety protocols. Grace Hill training and ongoing skill development are encouraged, with occasional weekend needs and on-call hours as

Qualifications

Must meet all physical requirements and be able to follow directions.
Work schedule is typically 40 hours per week, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with possible variation.
On-call work may be necessary.
Must wear back-support belt and gloves; wear appropriate footwear.

Responsibilities

Inspect vacated apartments and assess make-ready needs; communicate required services to the Senior Maintenance Technician and Property Manager.
Assist with cleaning and trash-out of units and removal of heavy items as needed.
Complete Grace Hill training courses by deadlines and pursue ongoing skill development.
Perform general maintenance tasks to prepare apartments for new residents; replace/repair lights, locks, appliances, and fixtures.
Restore apartments to market-ready condition for move-in and provide a clean, welcoming space.
