Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking an Assistant Maintenance / Make Ready Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and well‑kept community for residents. The role supports the Lead Maintenance Technician and helps prepare apartments for new residents by performing general upkeep and making sure units meet market standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting vacated units, coordinating repairs, replacing lighting and fixtures, painting, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Must meet all physical requirements and follow safety instructions.
• Typical schedule is 40 hours per week, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with possible on-call and occasional weekend duties.
• On-site role requiring ability to perform maintenance tasks across units.
• Must wear safety gear as dictated (gloves, back-support belt).

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and prepare them for new residents.
• Replace or repair lights, locks, faucets, appliances, doors, blinds, and shelving.
• Patch and paint walls, change A/C filters, and operate carpet cleaners.
• Transport tools and assist with exterior maintenance.
• Document inspections and coordinate with Property Manager.
