Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking an Assistant Maintenance / Make Ready Technician for an on-site multifamily property. You will assist in upholding the community’s physical integrity, ensuring clean, safe, and well‑maintained living spaces while supporting the Lead Maintenance Technician.

The role includes training and mentoring maintenance staff, scheduling compliance with Grace Hill courses, and promoting a safe, high‑quality service culture across the property team.

Qualifications

• Must meet all physical requirements and follow directions.
• 40 hours per week, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday–Friday; schedule may vary.
• Occasional on‑call work may be necessary.
• Wearing back‑support belt, gloves, and appropriate footwear is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and determine make‑ready needs; communicate with Lead Technician and Property Manager.
• Assist with cleaning and trash‑out of units and removal of bulky items.
• Maintain cleanliness of grounds and deliver notices as needed.
• Support safety training and adhere to safety‑first practices at all times.
• Repair and replace lights, locks, appliances, doors, blinds, and fixtures; assist with painting and minor exterior tasks.
