Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking an Assistant Maintenance / Make Ready Technician for an on-site role in a multifamily community. You will support the physical upkeep, assist with make-ready preparations, and help ensure safe, clean housing for residents.

The role involves training staff, following safety protocols, and coordinating with the Property Manager. Ideal candidates are prepared for a 40-hour workweek, may require on-call duties, and must adhere to PPE requirements and workplace

Qualifications

Must meet all physical requirements of the position.
Work schedule is typically 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; on-call may be necessary.
Must wear a back-support belt and gloves as dictated by tasks to ensure safety.
Must wear appropriate footwear; non-flat-bottom shoes required.

Responsibilities

Provide operational oversight to ensure compliance with policies, safety laws, and property standards.
Train and mentor maintenance staff as directed by management.
Perform general maintenance tasks to prepare apartments for new residents, including repairs and replacements.
Support resident move-in readiness and ensure clean, safe, and welcoming living spaces.
Document inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks; report materials needs to management.
Maintain safety and quality controls across on-site maintenance activities.
