Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking an Assistant Maintenance / Make Ready Technician to support the upkeep of multifamily communities. This on-site role focuses on preparing apartments for new residents, ensuring clean and safe living spaces, and coordinating with the Lead Maintenance Technician.

The position requires hands-on maintenance, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner to maintain property value and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must meet all physical requirements of the position.
• Work schedule is typically 40 hours per week, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; occasional weekend needs may occur.
• On-site location with occasional on-call duties and safety gear requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete detailed make-ready checklists.
• Assist with cleaning, trash-out, and turnover of units for new residents.
• Replace or repair fixtures, lighting, doors, and appliances as needed.
• Coordinate with maintenance team to ensure timely, quality service delivery.
• Document inspections, repairs, and tasks performed.
