Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking an Assistant Maintenance / Make Ready Technician for multifamily communities. The role is on-site and reports to the Property Manager, with duties centered on keeping the property clean, safe, and ready for new residents.

Responsibilities include vacate-unit turnover, basic maintenance, and coordination with the Senior Maintenance Technician. The position supports resident satisfaction and property value through proactive upkeep and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Grace Hill training courses completed by deadlines.
• On-call work may be required.
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.
• Must wear back-support belt and gloves as required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and communicate required services to the Senior Maintenance Technician and Property Manager.
• Assist with cleaning and trash-out of units.
• Maintain cleanliness of community grounds and post notices.
• Prepare apartments for new residents and ensure market-ready condition.
• Document inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
• Report supply and material needs to the Property Manager / Senior Maintenance Technician.
• Support safety training efforts and adhere to safety practices.
• Provide training and mentoring to maintenance staff as directed.
