Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking an Assistant Maintenance / Make Ready Technician - Multifamily to support a busy on-site team. The role focuses on keeping the property clean, safe, and well-maintained for new residents and staff.

You will inspect vacated units, coordinate make-ready tasks, and assist with general maintenance such as lighting, locks, appliances, painting, and A/C filter changes. Training and safety are emphasized throughout your duties.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform general maintenance tasks and prep apartments for new residents.
• Commitment to safety practices and following OSHA/ADA standards.
• Willingness to train and mentor maintenance staff to deliver quality service.
• Strong communication and resident-relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: ensure duties comply with policies and laws; inspect vacated apartments; assist with cleaning and trash-out.
• Leadership & Training: complete Grace Hill training; participate in ongoing skill development; emphasize safety.
• Maintenance Coordination: perform maintenance tasks, replace/repair fixtures, paint, clean carpets, change locks.
• Resident Relations: restore apartments to market-ready condition; provide clean, welcoming spaces for move-ins.
• Compliance & Reporting: document inspections and repairs; report needs to Manager; adhere to safety standards.
