Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking an Assistant Maintenance / Make Ready Technician to uphold the cleanliness, safety, and habitability of our multifamily communities. On-site role with a 40-hour workweek and occasional weekend needs, reporting to the Property Manager.

You will assist with make-ready tasks, perform general maintenance, and coordinate with the Lead Maintenance Technician. The position emphasizes safety, training, and resident-ready unit turnover to maintain property value.

Qualifications

• Must meet physical requirements and follow directions.
• 40-hour work week, 8:30 am–5:30 pm; schedule may vary.
• Occasional on-call work; wear back-support belt, gloves, and appropriate footwear.
• Commitment to safety and high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and prepare apartments for new residents, including cleaning and make-ready tasks.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs across units and common areas.
• Document inspections, repairs, and materials used.
• Support training and mentoring of maintenance staff.
• Communicate with Property Manager and Senior Maintenance Technician.
