Job summary

Mill Creek Residential is hiring a Service Technician Level II (Service Technician – Make Ready) in Denver. The role maintains physical conditions, handles make-ready tasks, and performs repairs to prepare units for new residents.

It emphasizes safety, owner satisfaction, and high-quality workmanship. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and HVAC/CPO certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Reads and follows work instructions and safety trainings.
• Takes measurements and performs basic arithmetic.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in general maintenance, preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Inspect vacated apartments, document renovations, re-inspect units for quality.
• Routinely make apartments ready for new residents.
• Address repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and other systems.
• Inspect grounds and buildings to ensure safety and plan projects.
• Respond to resident requests with timely, courteous service.
• Promote safe work practices on-site.
• Ensure compliance with laws and Fair Housing regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
