Job summary

Mill Creek Residential in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Service Technician Level II (Make Ready) to maintain the community's appearance and function. You will handle preventative maintenance, respond to service requests, and perform repairs to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and more to keep units ready for new residents.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of maintenance experience, a High School diploma or GED, and HVAC/CPO certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English for work instructions and communication.
• Accurate measurements and basic arithmetic for tasks and records.
• General computer skills with Microsoft Office and property management software.
• Operates maintenance equipment and tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to read labels, follow trainings, and communicate with residents and vendors.
• Ability to operate vehicles as part of on-site duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and performing general maintenance duties and repairs.
• Thoroughly inspect vacated apartments, document renovations, and re-inspect for quality.
• Restore apartments to make-ready status.
• Respond to repair requests across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and more.
• Inspect community grounds and buildings for safety and plan projects.
• Respond to resident requests promptly and deliver excellent service.
• Promote safe work practices on-site.
• Ensure compliance with laws and Fair Housing regulations.
• Address and complete other duties as assigned.
