Job summary

Mill Creek Residential in Standish, MA is seeking a Service Technician Level II to maintain the physical condition and appearance of our community. You will perform repairs and renovations to keep vacated units ready, respond to requests, and ensure safety and quality in all work.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and HVAC and CPO certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Read, write and speak English; understand work instructions and service requests.
• Accurately take measurements and perform basic arithmetic.
• General computer skills (Microsoft Office, property management software).
• Operate maintenance tools and safety equipment.
• Safely use chemicals and cleaning supplies.
• Operate vehicles (car/truck/golf cart).

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and performing general maintenance and repairs following safety standards.
• Inspect vacated apartments, document renovations and re-inspect for quality.
• Restore apartments to make-ready status.
• Respond to repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, safety systems, and more.
• Inspect grounds and buildings for safety and maintenance projects.
• Address resident requests promptly and deliver excellent service.
• Promote safe work practices on-site.
• Ensure compliance with laws and Fair Housing regulations.
