Job summary

Mill Creek Residential is seeking a Service Technician Level II (Make Ready) to maintain and prepare apartment homes for new residents. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect vacated units, and complete repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and related systems.

The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and strong resident service, with on-site responsibilities and adherence to building standards.

Qualifications

• Reads, writes and speaks English well; follows instructions and completes paperwork.
• Basic arithmetic and measurement skills.
• Proficient with basic computer software and reporting.
• Operates common maintenance tools safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing and performing general duties, preventative maintenance, and repairs to Mill Creek properties.
• Thoroughly inspect vacated apartments and document renovations; re-inspect units for quality.
• Restore apartments to make-ready status and respond to repair requests.
• Perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and related systems.
• Inspect grounds and buildings to ensure safety and compliance with laws.
• Provide timely, courteous service to residents and coworkers.
• Promote safe work practices on-site.
