Job summary

SunRidge Management Group is seeking an Assistant Maintenance / Make Ready Technician to support multifamily communities. The role ensures clean, safe, and well-maintained living environments and trains maintenance staff for future leadership.

Responsibilities include preparing units, inspecting for make-ready needs, and coordinating with team to meet move-in schedules. On-site, full-time with potential weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• 4 to 5 years of experience in the Assistant Maintenance role in property maintenance.
• Work schedule is typically 40 hours per week, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; schedule may vary.
• On-call work may be necessary.
• Must wear a back-support belt and gloves as dictated by tasks to ensure safety.
• Required to wear appropriate footwear; non-flat-bottom shoes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and assess make-ready needs; communicate required services to team.
• Assist with cleaning and trash-out of units and maintain grounds cleanliness.
• Perform general maintenance to prepare apartments for new residents; replace/repair fixtures.
• Document inspections and repairs; report supply needs to management.
• Support safety training and promote a safe, clean community environment.
