Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair the physical aspects of our Riverside, CA properties. The role covers routine maintenance, make-ready work, inventory tracking, and safeguarding common areas, with optional on-call duties and a flexible schedule.

The position requires 1–2 years of maintenance experience and EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1 and II or Universal). A valid driver’s license is required for golf cart operation on property.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of maintenance experience required.
• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Tracks inventory and resources, returns unused items, and notifies supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to properly document and track service requests.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, pressure-washing, and painting as needed.
• Assists in cost-saving by fixing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.
• Conducts routine property inspections to identify safety concerns and communicates with management.
• Assists in conducting property inspections to identify safety and risk management concerns.
