Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of our Riverside, CA property. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance, address resident requests, and ensure safety and quality in all common areas and units.

This role requires 3–5 years of property maintenance experience, EPA refrigerant certifications, and a valid driver's license. The position offers a competitive hourly wage, housing discount, and access to comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of property maintenance experience required.
• EPA Type I & II or Universal refrigerant certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property required.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders generated from resident requests and performs preventive maintenance to meet safety and code requirements.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Follows procedures to access materials, track inventory, and report re-ordering needs to the maintenance supervisor.
• Completes documentation for service requests to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, painting, and general upkeep.
• Supports cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.
• Assists in conducting routine property inspections to identify safety concerns and communicate needs to management.
